‘HOTPOT’ Japan brings together two internationally acclaimed rising Japanese choreographers, each presenting a pair of interconnected works to construct a multidimensional bodily landscape: Brussels P.A.R.T.S. alumnus Osamu Shikichi delves into gaze and pain to craft a profound sensory allegory; while Yokohama Dance Collection Grand Prize winner Ayane Nakagawa utilises high-tension physical collisions to interrogate bodily autonomy, choices, and the essence of reproduction and existence. Together, these four works interweave an avant-garde, evocative dimension transcending time and space.
