Folding Time Through Movement: CCDF 2026 Reimagines Contemporary Dance
In every motion, an eternal moment.

As time races with the city’s pulse, can the body anchor space and time?

From October 23 to 31 this year, the dance festival presented by City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) will take the stage at East Kowloon’s new cultural landmark, the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC).

The festival spans historical reconstructions in Maguy Marin’s May B and Armin Hokmi’s Shiraz, alongside Jiří Kylián’s Sleepless and the world premiere of Sang Jijia’s a | ch. Meanwhile, the HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform returns, traversing Japan Platform’s avant-garde, multisensory dimensions, Korea Platform’s spectrum spanning tradition, modernity, and futuristic visions, as well as the dynamic perspectives of China Platform and the China National Arts Fund Young Artists Showcase. CCDF 2026 warmly invites you to step into the EKCC and witness fleeting yet resonant illusions of life, right where bodies and space-time intertwine.

Two limited-edition festival passes—the “CCDF Pass” and “HOTPOT Pass”—will be launched first, guiding audiences through this temporal labyrinth from multiple perspectives.

The full festival lineup and early bird offers will be announced shortly.
