Love is one of humanity’s most enduring emotions—but what is it that binds two people so tightly?
Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy Romeo and Juliet, this performance begins with the original’s vision of a fate-scorched love—fierce, absolute, and irrevocable—and turns its gaze toward the questions it leaves behind: what we believe love is worth, and how it might exist.
Deconstructing the classic text, the work reimagines it through physical language and stage storytelling, focusing on the push and pull between two people—love, encounter, survival, and learning how to be with one another. Looking back on the meaning of every meeting and every moment of staying, it excavates, layer by layer, the weight of “love” suspended between the instant and the eternal.

Terry TSANG
An emerging choreographer and independent dancer in Hong Kong, he was nominated for Outstanding Performing Male Dancer in the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2019. Tsang received the “Tom Brown Emerging Choreographer Award” and the “Award for Outstanding Online Production” in Hong Kong Dance Awards 2023. Tsang received the “Award for Young Artist (Dance)” in Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2024.
Tsang studied in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance, and was a full-time dancer in the City Contemporary Dance Company during 2013 to 2019, touring and performing in cities worldwide. Tsang was active in creating works locally, and had presented his works twice in major dance festivals in the Chinese Mainland with scholarship support.

Bobo LAI
Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance. She joined the Guangdong Modern Dance Company as a full-time dancer in 2009, and returned to Hong Kong in 2015 to join the City Contemporary Dance Company, where she was promoted to Senior Dance Artist in 2022. Since leaving the company in 2023, she has been a freelance dance artist (performer, choreographer, and instructor) to the present.
Lai has toured Asia and Europe with numerous renowned choreographers. Her choreographic talent has earned widespread acclaim, with Discover-exist (2023) and The Search (2024) winning 1st Runner-up at the Hong Kong Intra-Varsity Dance Competition, while Eighteen (2025) and 4.48 Psychosis (2026) received Champion titles and “Best Choreography awards”.
