‘HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform’ China I

Three visceral slices of the fast-paced metropolis weave together the dynamic tensions of emerging Chinese contemporary dance.
‘HOTPOT’ China I brings together three avant-garde works of distinctly contrasting aesthetics: from the delicate retrieval of memory’s fading glimmer and an explosive bodily rebellion, to a clinical dissection of the urban psyche through digital media. Colliding stillness with kinetic force, the three pieces strike straight at the pulse of contemporary existence.
