Folding Time Through Movement: CCDF 2026 Reimagines Contemporary Dance<\/strong>
In every motion, an eternal moment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As time races with the city\u2019s pulse, can the body anchor space and time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the theme \u2018Time Fantasy\u2019, the City Contemporary Dance Festival 2026 (CCDF 2026) invites audiences to dismantle the boundaries of time through dance, traversing freely between reality and illusion, memory and prophecy, wakefulness and dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From October 23 to 31 this year, the dance festival presented by City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) will take the stage at East Kowloon\u2019s new cultural landmark, the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival spans historical reconstructions in Maguy Marin\u2019s May B<\/em> and Armin Hokmi\u2019s Shiraz<\/em>, alongside Ji\u0159\u00ed Kyli\u00e1n\u2019s Sleepless<\/em> and the world premiere of Sang Jijia\u2019s a | ch<\/em>. Meanwhile, the \u2018HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform\u2019 returns, traversing Japan Platform\u2019s avant-garde, multisensory dimensions; Korea Platform\u2019s spectrum spanning tradition, modernity, and futuristic visions; as well as the dynamic perspectives of China Platform and the China National Arts Fund Young Artists Showcase. CCDF 2026 warmly invites you to step into the EKCC and witness fleeting yet resonant illusions of life, right where bodies and space-time intertwine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two limited-edition festival passes \u2013 the \u2018CCDF Pass\u2019 and \u2018HOTPOT Pass\u2019 \u2013 are now available, guiding audiences through this temporal labyrinth from multiple perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
