Love is one of humanity\u2019s most enduring emotions\u2014but what is it that binds two people so tightly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare\u2019s timeless tragedy Romeo and Juliet, this performance begins with the original\u2019s vision of a fate-scorched love\u2014fierce, absolute, and irrevocable\u2014and turns its gaze toward the questions it leaves behind: what we believe love is worth, and how it might exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deconstructing the classic text, the work reimagines it through physical language and stage storytelling, focusing on the push and pull between two people\u2014love, encounter, survival, and learning how to be with one another. Looking back on the meaning of every meeting and every moment of staying, it excavates, layer by layer, the weight of \u201clove\u201d suspended between the instant and the eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terry TSANG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An emerging choreographer and independent dancer in Hong Kong, he was nominated for Outstanding Performing Male Dancer in the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2019. Tsang received the \u201cTom Brown Emerging Choreographer Award\u201d and the \u201cAward for Outstanding Online Production\u201d in Hong Kong Dance Awards 2023. Tsang received the \u201cAward for Young Artist (Dance)\u201d in Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tsang studied in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance, and was a full-time dancer in the City Contemporary Dance Company during 2013 to 2019, touring and performing in cities worldwide. Tsang was active in creating works locally, and had presented his works twice in major dance festivals in the Chinese Mainland with scholarship support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bobo LAI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance. She joined the Guangdong Modern Dance Company as a full-time dancer in 2009, and returned to Hong Kong in 2015 to join the City Contemporary Dance Company, where she was promoted to Senior Dance Artist in 2022. Since leaving the company in 2023, she has been a freelance dance artist (performer, choreographer, and instructor) to the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lai has toured Asia and Europe with numerous renowned choreographers. Her choreographic talent has earned widespread acclaim, with Discover-exist<\/em> (2023) and The Search<\/em> (2024) winning 1st<\/sup> Runner-up at the Hong Kong Intra-Varsity Dance Competition, while Eighteen<\/em> (2025) and 4.48 Psychosis<\/em> (2026) received Champion titles and \u201cBest Choreography awards\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
