When I was in Stockholm is born from personal experience. The focus is a research of the transformation process, an emotional and physical change of state. Precision, transformation and freedom are its key words.
Novembrini has thought about how our sense of inadequacy derives from tacit pressures exerted by the outside world. Pressures that constantly demand us to be faster and more perfect. Novembrini translated this feeling into a somatic practice into which he ritualistically put in place a transformation that affirmed his identity and freedom as a singular individual in the community.
Imagine a body that, in order to survive, adapts itself to the environment, following its rules, taking its form and forgetting almost completely about itself. Imagine a timeless time, imagine an intimate force, and imagine a solitary and silent resistance. You may be able to see an animal wrapped in its camouflage, which slowly, to a succession of events, changes its skin, until it finds its true colour.
